Founder Fashion Startups Club
I am Shreya Singh Beniwal, a medical doctor by profession, currently based in Delhi. I am actively pursuing my further medical studies while simultaneously building and managing multiple startups. I strongly believe that a woman does not need to choose between education, career, or entrepreneurship she can grow in more than one direction at the same time.
While medicine has always been my academic foundation, I have always been deeply interested in business, startups, and entrepreneurship, especially businesses built by women. During my own journey, I realised that many women want to start something of their own but often feel lost due to lack of correct guidance, practical knowledge, and fear of making costly mistakes.
This realisation inspired me to start FashionStartups Inner Circle.
As a doctor in training, I understand the importance of discipline, systems, consistency, and long-term thinking. As an entrepreneur, I have learned through hands-on experience that business success does not come from shortcuts or blindly depending on agencies, but from understanding the basics, learning essential skills, and applying them step by step.
Over the years, I noticed that many women — including students, homemakers, working professionals, designers, resellers, influencers, and even existing business owners — end up spending lakhs every year on agencies, tools, or unnecessary services, without even understanding what they are paying for. This often leads to frustration, burnout, and loss of confidence.
My goal through FashionStartups Inner Circle is to ensure that women are not trapped in this cycle, and instead become confident enough to manage, grow, and scale their businesses on their own.
Through this initiative, I guide women to learn the most important real-world skills required in today’s business environment, including:
- Social media strategy and content basics
- Running ads with clarity and control
- Understanding websites and funnels
- Customer psychology and buying behaviour
- Product selection and curation
- Branding, pricing, and positioning
All of this is taught in a way that women can apply it alongside their studies, jobs, or family responsibilities, without feeling overwhelmed.
Alongside this community, I actively run and manage my own brands:
- Clarique Fashions – Clothing Brand
- Clarique Jewels – Jewellery Brand
- Volmee – Our New Skincare, Haircare & Cosmetic Brand
Building these businesses has helped me understand the real challenges of sourcing, branding, customer trust, marketing, and scaling — not just in theory, but through daily execution.
Academically, I remain deeply involved in medical research and publications, and I continue to pursue excellence in my medical journey. However, entrepreneurship has taught me some of the most valuable lessons of life — decision-making, problem-solving, leadership, adaptability, and resilience.
Over the last three years, I have worked with and guided people from more than 60 countries, including women entrepreneurs and medical students, gaining extensive practical and personal experience across different markets, cultures, and mindsets.
My message to every woman reading this is simple:
Nothing is impossible in life if you have the right pathway, support, and mindset. If I can pursue medical studies, manage businesses, and still help other women grow, then you can do it too. You do not need to be perfect to start — you just need the right direction and consistent action.
FashionStartups Inner Circle is not just a course or a program. It is an initiative to help women build profitable, ethical, and sustainable businesses, step by step — without confusion, fear, or dependency on others.
If you dream of starting your own fashion brand, I want you to know — it is possible for you too.
If I can balance medicine, business, and mentorship so can you. All you need is the right roadmap.
